CONCURSOS REGIONALES LATINOAMERICANOS ICPC 2019 - FINAL CARIBEÑA (SEDE CUBANA)

IX Taller Caribeño de Aprendizaje Colaborativo

INTRODUCCIÓN

El IX Taller Caribeño de Aprendizaje Colaborativo (TCAC) se efectuará en el marco de la Sede Cubana de la Final Caribeña 2019 del ICPC. El TCAC alienta la discusión y el intercambio en temas relacionados con el Aprendizaje Colaborativo que tiene lugar en torno a la Programación Competitiva.

El Comité Organizador convoca a los participantes de la Final Caribeña 2019 (concursantes, entrenadores, organizadores e invitados) a compartir sus conocimientos y experiencias en el campo del Aprendizaje Colaborativo. Esperamos que las presentaciones generen provechosos debates; además, que el Taller contribuya en el establecimiento de nuevas relaciones de colaboración entre los individuos y las instituciones participantes.

METAS

• Identificar, desarrollar y aprovechar las tecnologías que promuevan el Aprendizaje Colaborativo y la Programación Competitiva.
• Proporcionar un canal o medio para la discusión, la difusión y el intercambio de conocimientos entre investigadores del tema.

TEMÁTICAS

• Infraestructura de Aprendizaje Colaborativo:
  • Sistemas de inscripción.
  • Archivos en línea de problemas.
  • Evaluación automática de soluciones a problemas.
  • Concursos en línea.
• Estándares/Normas, Archivo y Documentación:
  • Organización de concursos.
  • Confección y clasificación de problemas.
• Pedagogía:
  • Atención al estudiante potencialmente talentoso en Programación Competitiva.
  • Entrenamiento para concursos de programación.
  • Aplicación de la Programación Competitiva en entornos docentes.

ENVÍO DE TRABAJOS

Los resúmenes de los trabajos deben enviarse hasta el 26 de octubre de 2019 a la dirección icpc@uo.edu.cu. La notificación de aceptación será enviada antes del 30 de octubre de 2019.

Los mejores trabajos serán propuestos para publicación, siempre que los artículos cumplan con las Normas de Publicación de la Revista Cubana de Ciencias Informáticas (RCCI). Se recomienda consultar la Guía para la evaluación de artículos de la Editorial "Ediciones Futuro". Los trabajos más destacados también serán propuestos para su presentación en el Simposio de Aprendizaje Colaborativo que se efectuará en Moscú, Rusia, durante la Final Mundial 2020 del ICPC.

THE 2019 ICPC LATIN-AMERICAN REGIONAL CONTESTS - CARIBBEAN FINALS (CUBAN SITE)

The 9th Caribbean Workshop on Collaborative Learning

INTRODUCTION

The 9th Caribbean Workshop on Collaborative Learning (CWCL) will be held in the Cuban Site of the 2019 ICPC Caribbean Finals. This Workshop encourages discussion and exchange in subjects related to Collaborative Learning around the Competitive Programming.

The Organizing Committee calls for all participants on the 2019 Caribbean Finals (contestants, coaches, guests and staff) to share their knowledge and experiences in the field of Collaborative Learning. We hope that the presentations generate beneficial debates and contributes to establish of new collaboration between participant individuals and institutions.

GOALS

• Identify, develop and take advantage of technologies that promote Collaborative Learning and Competitive Programming.
• Create a channel for the discussion, diffusion and exchange of knowledge between Collaborative Learning researchers.

SUBJECTS

• Collaborative Learning Infrastructure:
  • Registration systems.
  • Online problem archive.
  • Automatic problem solution evaluations.
  • Online contests.
• Standards/Norms, Archives and Documentation:
  • Contest organization.
  • Problem setting and classification.
• Pedagogy:
  • Attention to potentially talented students in Competitive Programming.
  • Programming contest training.
  • Application of Competitive Programming in learning environments.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS

Paper abstracts should be submitted untill October 26th, 2019 to the email icpc@uo.edu.cu. Acceptance notification will be sent before Octuber 30th, 2019.

The best works will be proposed for publication, as long as they follow the Rules of Publication of the Cuban Magazine of Informatics Sciences (RCCI). The Guide for article evaluation of the "Ediciones Futuro" Editorial is recommended. Most outstanding works will also be proposed for presentation in the Symposium on Collaborative Learning to be held in Moscow, Russia, during the 2020 ICPC World Finals.
